Why I love the airport but there’s a Buddhist parable review a life it’s like a chance meeting in America place not everything has that character that everyone you meet you just meet them for the time you meet them and then they pop there’s the noise and the smells of the laughing and children and then and then you walk and they pass and you interact and then they pass why I love the airport is that reminds me of this that’s the physical metaphor oh everyday life but in everyday life it’s hard to see this because we are so personally identified with everything that it feels concrete feels immortal you don’t seem to see that each moment is a just passing meaning in the marketplace to make contact with them what’s true about life and it shows you the preciousness of everything but our ego and mind tends to make predictable patterns so that we can relax it’s a haywire system it’s a survival system that’s gone haywire we lose the glow and love and engagement and presence of life because we wanna make it simple and lifeless so we can feel safe but it does the opposite dusting the microchip when you’re in the airport your nameless you’re not your past you’re not your mistakes you’re not your dreams you’re not your successes you’re not trapped by your successes or perceived successes you’re not trapped by your sorry because everyone who sees you does not know you and outside the airport everybody has a reference point and you’re going to be an eyesight or the eyeline of anybody you mean and there is a story to the city and how to behave in the city but at the airport it is every single nationality and culture on the planet all in one place in any respectable airport that is so in a lot of ways there isn’t really a culture to an airport it has to really really get simple in terms of its social implications just to keep things rolling and safe but anyway that’s free and it really shows you something that’s true about life but we so yet again for a lot of people it’s difficult to make contact with this true energetic force that you right now breathing this truly and utterly you must see see it now without any resistance you actually can go anywhere right now you can actually just start walking in a direction and the only thing that will ever keep you anywhere is your attachments to it which is not a bad thing you have your responsibilities your family your loves or what you want to do it’s enjoyable but you are but an airport sure comfortable seats and your flights everywhere and you’re in between the upside down it gives you a feeling of how you can always feel if you just pay attention that you can literally go and do anything the framing excitement possibility and the truth of most people’s lives.
